The New Big Daddy Weave Drum Cam! Episode 001- Fields of Grace
Here is a behind the scenes view of what it is like to play drums with Big Daddy Weave

Want to learn the Rosanna shuffle?
This is my favorite groove of all time! Here, I break down the different steps to learning this groove. Take it slow and remember, keep it in the pocket!

Songo groove-My other favorite groove
This is one of my favorite grooves of all time. I learned this after I graduated college. After hearing Dave Weckl play this, I knew I had to learn it. It’s easier than it sounds, but it took forever to learn.

Do you break a lot of sticks?
Here I talk about how to get that consistent rim shot sound from your snare drum. It may break a lot of sticks but it is a small price to pay for having a great sounding snare.

Open Roll on the kit
I first learned how to play the long roll when I was 12 years old after hearing my drum teacher Brandon Smith play it. I knew at that moment I wanted to play drums for the rest of my life.

Flams on the Drumset
Flams have always been a big part of my playing. I use them ofter and am sometimes guilty of using them too much. They really have a way of breaking up the same thing by adding a little something extra.

Paradiddles on the Drumset
I would say the paradiddle is the most popular rudiment of all time. Learing it was the first step I took to learning other rudiments that would open up a whole world of drumming possibilities. Remember, it’s all about the accent!

The flam Drag
My favorite rudiment of all time. My friend Keith Marks taught me this in the 9th grade over the phone. I remember thinking this was the coolest sounding rudiment I had ever heard.

The six stroke roll
This is my favorite rudiment to play on the drumset. I use it everyday on the kit.

Short lesson on Paradiddles
This rudiment is considered the most popular one of all. You should first learn this one before going on to the more difficult ones. This rudiment is one you can always improve on.

The Long Roll
I first learned how to play the long roll when I was 12 years old after hearing my drum teacher Brandon Smith play it. I knew at that moment I wanted to play drums for the rest of my life.
